New to food plots

I live in Northern Iowa and this will be my first year doing food plots. I'm going to be planting corn, beans this spring and this fall antler king honey hole and antler king mini max. Also this fall Im going to plant buck forage oats and hard red wheat. I would like advice on any tips for planting these and would like to start a spring and summer plot too? Any advice would be great and very appreicated!

No advise here, but to say that I got some Biologic foodplot (maximum) the other day and put it down and man was it thin. For what I spent I should have called my co-op. I guess if it doesnt come up I'll be calling the co-op. I also plan to plant honey hole mid summer, heard nothing but good things about turnips. Planning on putting some P&K down tonight if the weather holds out.
