non-hunting related question

So I have a downspout that drains into a river gravel based flower bed, then any excess water is running over my sidewalk to the front door and is making an icy, slippery mess!! Any one have any simple ways to trench a tunnel under a sidewalk so I can run an extension off the spout and under the walk?

nothing easy. Just going to have to dig down and dig out under the sidewalk.

Ditto on what Jesse said, the only other thing I can think of is can you regutter the roof to run the downspout somewhere else?

When I do horizontal ground boring for pond work, I have taken an earth anchor and ground it to fit a 1/2" drill. Drill about 6" at a time and pull out dirt. Works great altho it has a tendancy to drag to one side and not be a straight hole.
