Iowabruce, nice set of sheds! I've not seen the cover in question and therefore cannot comment on the specific buck pictured.
...but I can assure you that NAW has a habit of placing pics of penned deer on their cover. They've been doing it forever. I'm not saying its good or bad, just stating a fact.
