Oklahoma Gobbler

I slept in this morning but thought I would run out and look for mushrooms before it got too hot. I threw a shotgun in the truck just in case I happened to see a bird. Sure enough, I spotted this bird on a pond dam, sat down and got set up, made my first call somewhere around 9:30 AM, and pulled the trigger at 9:51 AM.

I've never had a bird gobble the way this one did. No lie, he gobbled a hundred times easy on his way in.

No mushrooms, but I'll take a turkey any day!
