One buck argument for Troubled states ….

I have expressed my opinion on this many a times. We have 1. Buck rule in IN, it has been that way since I moved here 18 years ago, best thing implemented by any DNR I have ever seen. Our herd quality is great and more and more trophies seen and killed every year. Your one tag is good across all seasons so you can be as selective as you want and hunt as much as you want. The doe management has really gotten better in the last 5 years.

I really see 0 downsides to the 1 buck rule and think all states should consider it

I wouldn't have an issue if Iowa had one anysex tag and used across all seasons as long as you use the legal weapon for that season. I also don't see an issue if the landowner could get one extra anysex tag, but just the legal landowner, not a tenant.
