Opening Day Kansas NT

I am posting this for a friend who is not yet a member of this forum. (Slacker!) He took this deer on the first day of the season here in Kansas. He has set the bar pretty darn high for the rest of us around here. Congrats Mike!!

Not sure of the score yet, but who cares anyway. Awesome mature non-typical!!

That harvest photo is top notch. Stud buck as well, and to harvest him on the first day is crazy! Congrats to him. He'll look good on the wall i'm sure!

Beautiful buck and nice job on the photo.

I hate to make a suggestion on a photo like that but I bet you are into taking good shots so here's a tip. Spray some windex and take a paper towel to that blood around the buck's mouth. You'll be surprised how nicely it will clean it up. I learned this from an outdoor photographer a few years ago and I use it a lot.
