Parallels?

No comments since I posted those links, so here's something to stimulate conversation.

The whole "woke" movement, where the majority of people were supposed to support/champion/elevate a small segment of the population, really made me bristle.

Is the "manage for trophy" mindset driven by a minority of hunters?

Really? I can click on the hyperlink words in the first two post to open articles.

The first one is about a shooting range where those wanting to rapid fire are complaining about those (hunters) who shoot slow and tie up the bench.

Second article is about "casual" hunters being looked down upon by the "avid" group.

Either way, its division from the inside when common ground needs to be found. Seems like we have a lot of "My way or the highway" mentality out there these days.

Ok- this is good….. hunters at gun ranges clog things up cause they so slow!!!! Bugs the hard core guys there to blaze!!! That’s funny.

Then - the serious hunters vs the casual hunters. “Don’t knock the dude for being a causal hunter as we need them”. Agree!
Article Poses the serious hunters saying: “if u haven’t done this for years you’re an idiot and shut your pie hole”. Which that POV is stupid.
This one is simple… of course we need casual hunters. I’ll go to bat if someone is belittling a new hunter, kid or someone learning. I was that “idiot hunter”…. Worst hunter on earth. We all start at bottom. Where the rubber hits the road - the REGULATIONS!! Conservative regulations that keeps everything from being destroyed- all good & that’s exactly how you can have your newbies & protect the resource at the same time. & on top of that!!!!! Because of the great Regs…. The newbies or casual guys will have better hunting & more opportunities vs the places that are ruined disasters - like MI! :)
