Sounds interesting. Have you established planting rates, seed depths yet? My pheasant and quail population is steady and growing...I could see this being good for the birdies in the winter especially.I too was considering iron clay cowpeas this yr. I'm going to plant sorghum and peas in alternating rows in my drill around outside of my soybean plots this yr let the peas vine up the sorghum figure it can't hurt and see how the deer use them.
