You don't need a digital camera to UPLOAD a pic, you can always scan a 35mm photo and save as a JPEG.
We would say that the majority of our members are using a 35mm camera with more and more going to digital.
That said, scanning the photo is important in that you don't want your pic to large in physical size or in resolution. The software you use with your scanner is key.
We recommend a 400 x 300 pixels in size and 72 DPI in resolution. This way your image will fit in the Conference and will "load" fairly fast for readers to view.
Once the file is saved, we suggest your desktop, go to the UPLOAD page. Click on BROWSE and find your file. When the file fills the blank, click on SUBMIT QUERY and the photo or image will slowly appear.
Once the image shows up just RIGHT CLICK on the image and click on PROPERTIES and COPY the URL ( example - iowawhitetail/UPLOAD/yourpic ) and PASTE to the Conference page.
Don't forget that you need to stick the image brackets in front
to make the picture show up.
If all of this is too much just e-mail the JPEG to us and we' ll do the rest!
