i was reading around tonight and found some very good nature poems and stuff that applies to about everyone in here. just thought i would post one or two and maybe some of you will follow suit and post your favorites.

One More Time
Lord, when my time is over
and my huntin’ days are done,
Take me one more time
to the place I had my fun.
Take me to the woods
where the game runs wild and free.
I’d like to sit just one more time
up in that ol’ oak tree.
And hear the owls ‘fore daybreak,
then the crows throughout the day.
And I could even tolerate
an occasional blue jay.
Lord, you don’t mind, just one more time?
To the stand called number seven.
I guess you could say, it’s on the way.
It’s just this side o’ heaven.
