Pointing lab pup picture

This is my 5 month old female chocalate lab Halle. She has quite a background of pointing stock and it has shown so far. Halle is just my 2nd lab that I will have trained on my own, and I have not dealt with the pointing aspect of the training. I'm sure we will both learn as we go, but I can't wait until Spring to get her some water work and do some more field work.

Yes, she is 9 1/2 so I thought it was about time to start looking for a pup. Actually she started having hip problems (getting stiff/ limping) so I figured she was not going to be able to hunt much more. Well, my little buddy Shredder hooked me up with some Vet info (glucosomine pills from WallyWorld) and her hips are fine. Maybe I shouldn't of counted the old girl out of the hunt!

Don't count her out yet, As long as she is eager to hunt, take her . My springer is 12 and she still loves to hunt. But, since she's(84) she only lasts about an hour and then shes ready for a rest.
