Hey all,
I'm sure this topic has been beat to death in the past, but I just got permission on a new property that has no food. I found a spot that should be good for an acre food plot. I killed everything off and am hoping to get some seed on the ground in the next couple of weeks. The vegetation wasn't super thick...is it worth trying to get the thatch off or should I just broadcast the seed into the killed off thatch? I have access to a 4 wheeler and a drag. I could probably get a mower back there as well. I don't have much experience and the property is a good drive from where I live so I wanted to get some input ahead of time.
Thanks!
