Just wondering why you have the Chevy ad coming up over the menu tabs?
It really don't work good at all.
Might be good for Chevy though!

Guys, it would seem our happy, well most of the time, little website has gone "Big Time". The pop up adds and "bots" bugged the crap outa me at first, in fact I was quite pissed. Not becuse they were there, because I felt that now somebody was tryin to make a buck off our passion for this site.
If there had been a post along the lines of:
"Due to the ever increasing costs of running a web site we, unforunately, have to start placing pop ups, and the bots they contain, on our site. We are sorry for any inconvinience this may cause, but to continue to keep bringing you this high quality site we have no choice. The funds these pop ups generate will be applied exclusivley to the real operating costs of this site and to bring you even more content and features in the future. No one associated with this site will realize any income from these ads. We realize it is you, the subscibers, readers and content contributers to this site that are the ones who keep hunters comming back and as such it is you who make this site what it is and are the true 'owners' of this site."
A statement like that would have gone along way to make the change more palatable. I can't help but feel a little "used" at this point. But damn it, I'm a junkie and I gotta have my fix.
Gentelman, the adds hurt. But I'm a big boy and I'll get over it. Business is business.

I don't care for the banners either, but this is a privately owned website, isn't it? If its not, where can I buy some shares?
Whoever owns this website deserves to make a million or 2 off of it for the great service/gathering place it provides.

I have yet to see a pop up ad, I have a pop up blocker and it tells me when it blocks, and it hasn't blocked anything. Are you talking about the banner ads at the top? I think I can deal with them.
