Prospective Hunter....."in the oven"

Hey all
just wanted to share with my Iowa Whitetail Brethren:
My Wife, Kathryn and i are expecting our first child. We are very excited and cant wait to have a new addition to our family.
I wouldnt change a thing and all im told is we are in for the biggest blessing of our lives......
However, because of lack of planning.....

our baby is due November 14th......

i say this tounge in cheek, we are excited, but you can bet ill be hitting the treestand as much as possible before the stork visits our doorstep....
lord willing ill be done in time....when the baby is able to hear, ill encourage it to wait a couple of weeks..........if not i told my wife she was on her own....

you can probably imagine her response....a punch
she did say she wants to kill a deer in october so she can say she did while she was 8 months pregnant....

i got a kick out of that.
any how, just thought id share with you guys the good news we have recieved...
hopefully it has the killer instincts that its father has ....

Congrats,my youngest was born on Nov.17th.Took some short eve.hunts and took a nice 150 class 11 pt.on Nov.11th.It's nice to have a wife that tries to understand my addiction.

Don't worry about the date. I have a Son with a birthday of 10/27 and a Daughter with a birthday of 11/2. Needless to say I didn't get much scouting done those years. Congrads.

They are truely a blessing. I'm going on 9 weeks with my new daughter and LOVE every minute of it!!! Wait!! Except for the sleepless nights. But thats getting better by the day. Life will change as you know it, but all for the better. You'll never be bored. I can look into her eyes hours on end. Once again I wish ya two the best.

Been there and done that! My daughter was born Nov 5th, but that didnt stop me from killing a 10pt on the 7th. Had it hung in time to pick them up from the hospital by 11am. I still hear about that one from time to time...

A big congrats to you and the misses though, poor timing or not!
