I'll be stranded (ok with me) grin for a few days at my cabin due to heavy rains so I'll post a pic each day about same time each day on progress.
Also, I plant Mammoth brand Sunflowers every year for fall buck rubbing posts.
They really hammer them.
Pic 1, taken 730 p.m.june 22.
#2, 7 p.m.23rd.
Sunflowers, 7 p.m. 23rd.

Pumpkins/Squash have become my favorite food plot plantings.

This is great!!! Keep ‘em coming!! I need to try these!!!!

Try it Skip.
It may not be to late to get some going.
I've got about 1/2 acre total this year planted.
Watched 100s of deer bypass corn, beans, brassica and make a beeline for them.

I’ve got twins that come through my
Sunflowers right now eating all the leaves off. Little brats. Pumpkins are going fairly good even though we are in week 6 with no rain- supposed to get rain here in a half hours. It’s amazing how hard they will hit it. (North iowa)

Pics taken at 7:15p.m. June 24.
Was raining/cloudy all day till about an hour ago so I didn't expect much but they did grow an inch or 2.
The pumpkins were in standing water 2 hours ago.
Got just shy of 3" in the past 3 days.

Edited too add, after 15 years of planting pumpkin, I never noticed they chase the sun like sunflowers.

I've done pumpkins the last couple years after reading your posts. The neighbor sprayed his field next to mine, and smoked all my pumpkins a couple weeks ago. I'm trying to decide if I want to replant or just leave it for brassicas.

Most pumpkins/squash are 100/110 day plants.
I'd try to replant them and by early august,August, they aren't growing well, go to brassica.

Sure sucks that happened.
They are not very tolerant to chemicals.

How'd they do last year?

Dammit, got a sever t storm coming. 3 days ago, praying for rain, now praying we don't get anymore.

Good with the bad I guess.
Holy crap it got dark here all of a sudden!

Jealous of everyone getting rain- a few miles away got 3 inches today. We got 4/10ths after 6 weeks of nothing.

They did pretty well. I fell behind on weeds, and probably let them get too dry a couple times, but the deer left enough for the kids jack o lanterns. I only did about 1/10 of an acre, and they were pretty much all eaten by early November.
