Killed a good one last night. Spotted him at about 6:00pm and did some light rattling. He came to investigate and ended up UNDER my tree for about a half hour. Watched him scraping and rubbing pretty hard on a little oak tree, and once he was actually licking one of the steps on my tree. To be honest, the entire time I was on the fence about shooting him, and watched him walk away and stop at 40 yards. At that point there was a 120" 8 under my stand that started walking to him, and they met at 35 yards and sparred a little. When they finished he turned broadside and never knew what hit him. I watched him die in the beans 100 yards away.
Looks to be about a 145" 4 year old.
Shot some video with my phone, too.
