Pyrodex pellets

Sorry if this is a question that has been asked before but I am fairly new to this.

I just started ML hunting last year and use the pyrodex pellets. I had no problem last year with it but is there something wrong with the Pyrodex pellets?

Nothing wrong with them just dirtier I believe.

Dirtier and more corosive, a little less power than some of the newer powders. I still use it because 777 left a terrible crud ring in my muzzy that made it impossible to seat a bullet after 3 or 4 shots.
