question for the trappers

I was just wondering about the "earth anchors".Is there anyway to get them back out of the ground besides digging them up or do you just cut the cable?Or do most of you just use rebar stakes? I'm pretty green to all of this so any advice on anything trapping is helpful, thanks.

The do have a tool to pull them out. If you go to fntpost.com you'll find it in there products.

I use a steel post and a chain. Hook the chain in the eye of the cable, use the T post as a lever and push them out of the ground.

Some guys use a portable jack to get em up. I places I use them year after yeari just leave em in and use an S hook to connect trap. Of its not really hard ground I can usually pull em up if the grounds not froze yet other wise I'll cut em.
