rattling?

I have been thinking about getting the horns out and hittin em together but was wondering if too early. On one of places I hunt found 2 locked bucks dead. Could the colder weather have em more frisky?

I rattled in 4 bucks this past weekend. Really light sparring type rattling and one I seen out in a bean field that I tickled them for 2 seconds and he came to me on a string. They start banging the second they lose the velvet.
