red dot scopes

My dad was looking at putting on a 2 or 3 power red dot scoop on his 20 gage shotgun. Was seeing if anyone had any experience with them and what ones anyone recommends.

I have 2 slug guns topped with Aimpoint 9000sc 2x scopes and love them. I've had Tasco and Bushnell and would not go back after using the Aimpoints!

I tried one and i had my dad try one as well.
He hated it with a burning fire and went back to open sights after the first miss.
I shot a handful of deer with a red dot and i just never really got comfortable with it.
Ive run a bushnell banner 1.5-4× on a cantilever barrel since 2004 and i absolutely love the low power scope over the red dot. To me its faster, more clear and thr batteries cant go dead
