Ribbon lick

Just happened across this old video while uploading my buck video. I was walking out with my girls from checking a camera and I wanted to hang another one on this creek crossing. I had no idea my stepdad had marked the crossing with a ribbon. When I checked the camera a couple weeks later I was surprised to see how many deer stopped and licked/smelled/chewed on the ribbon. My girls are now 9 and 6 so this was close to 5 yrs ago.

Very interesting, never seen or heard of anything like that. Was there already a scrape there or did you make a scrape or the deer are just curious of that ribbin?

There was not a scrape there when I hung the camera. But there was when I went back to check it.
