Yes, two shed seasons ago I stopped at Roger's to ask permission to shed hunt and ofcourse was denied but ended up sitting there and talking for about 5 hrs about deer. He is pretty amazing and has done it all with a recurve. His trophy room is absolutely amazing.
 
Oh yeah...he also gave me a signed copy of one of the books he wrote about whitetail. Pretty good read. I need to get back out for a visit.
 
Met him about 27 years ago with Fred Bear, nice guy. Bought his 145 grain Snuffers and took my 1st bow buck with them. Made a heck of a hole and a quick recovery.
 
He has two books which are must reads for any real deer hunter. He was also of the ones featured in the best bowhunters of all time book....if you don't know him then you don't know much about bowhunting legends..
