This is the first year I have put out trail cams and out of curiosity do most people take them down during winter? Or is it worth keeping up through winter?
If you shed hunt i would say to keep them out so you can see if your bucks have shed yet. That way you can just check cameras rather than wondering around and kicking the bucks off your property.
i run mine all the way through winter, not all of them but at least a couple just to see what bucks are around and when they shed, i usually do pull them during the shotgun seasons.
