Filled a doe tag Sat. nite and when we got back to town.Friends wife told us my other \buddy needed help draging a big 11 pt. out.
This boy had a huge body on him and when skinning him down he had at least 1 in. of fat on him. Maybe these big bucks are super lazy.Just eating and laying around til the rut.Bet thats why there tough early on.No traveling.

My doe was a almost straight down shot,the arrow hit the spine so she dropped right there.As for my friends buck,first 2 does came by,then a single doe.They did alot of messing around when a glimpse of another deer came in the picture.He said he seen antlers and stood up.When the buck was in clear view he thuoght ,this one is definetly going to get shot.He double lunged him at 8yrds. The buck went down at 60yrds.
 
I know a guy who shot a big 11 pt (huge body)up by harmon lake saturday night. Just wondering if it happens to be the same guy.
