Scrapes

I’m about to ship a few cameras up to my friends cousin and he’s gonna put them up for me. Not that I get to hunt this year, but maybe pickup some intel for next year.
How is the scrape activity looking? I figure it should be picking up and as good a spot as any for camera set over the next month and a half. I’m gonna tell him to look on the field edges. Surely there will already be a goood number of active scrapes along the ag fields by now?

FWIW, scraping has been WAY less this year at our place than would be normal...but I suspect that is largely because the ground has been so incredibly hard due to severe drought in our area this summer and early fall. Now that there are some rains coming around...I suspect that we will see scrapes galore soon.

This is the right time period to start seeing them, that is for sure.

Scrapes opened up a couple weeks ago around here. Scrape cams are rolling.
