Shotgun Buck '10

First of all sorry for anybody that bounces back and forth between here and Iowa Sportsman because I posted it there too. I'm not a regular contributor but spend hours reading what everyone else has to say on here and love the site. Getting around to posting this late but I shot this buck during 2nd Shotgun. Kinda crazy story, ended up finishing up my push (I thought) and decided to hang around on a timber edge until everyone else had finished up the hunt. Ended up having this guy, 2 smaller bucks, and 3 does come over the hill 150 yards away. They ran to 70 yards and stopped before they got suspicious and the rest is history. Caped him out and took him to the taxidermist before I measured him, any thoughts on what he might score?

I'll say he is a little bigger than that yet, but no matter, he is a great buck with nice character. Nice going.

I haven't heard from him yet, several guys guessed him between 140-145 in our group so I'm assuming thats pretty close. A local guys is doing the mount that does really good work, I'm not sure if he wants me throwing his name around a lot but if anyone in the Mahaska, Powesheik area are looking for a good taxidermist PM me. I'm hoping to hear back from a couple local landowners on whether or not they have any pictures of him tomorrow
