Skull Bleaching

I posted on this topic earlier in November. What I posted was taken directly out of the "Private Lessons" page by Gene Wensel printed in Field & Stream. I have used this method about 6 times now and it works flawlessly. As a matter of fact I just finished another one 2 weeks ago. This time I did my boiling outdoors. I used an old boiler pot on my Turkey fryer burner and it was much better doing it outside. Let's just say it doesn't smell like Sunday dinner cooking!

As for removing the meat, the more you take off the better. Be sure to take the eyes out and scramble the brain tissue up with a screw driver or a coat hanger before you boil it. It makes it alot easier to get out later.

ok, what do i do after i skin the head, and cut the eyes off, what next ?

bowhuntinfool, Scroll up to Rackaddicts original post about this. He method works good. Follow his advice and you will do ok. I've done mine the same way for years. If the nose bones fall off just glue them back on.
