My youngest made a fantastic shot on this big Doe. It was one of the cold snowy afternoons when the sound was magnified, and the deer were extremely jumpy. This big doe and two yearlings were on their way to feed when the passed within thirty yards of our double tree stand, Mitch had to turn completely around to make the shot, I grunted she stopped and Mitchell made a perfect shot on her, she ran about 25 yards and piled up. He was so excited I had to calm him down and hold his shotgun so he didn't drop it. He did a great job helping field dress her, and his big brother did the majority of the dragging, something Mitch definitely appreciated as it was well over a half mile back to the truck. Nothing better then spending time in deer woods hunting with your sons. Would not trade it for anything.
