Southern Ne. pics

Wife and I headed south yesterday to Harlan County Reservoir in far south central Ne.to watch and photograph the eagles. Estimates are as many as 175 eagles in the area. I didn't count but they are abundant. Hope you enjoy the pics.



You drive right through a prairie dog town to get there.....




We first stopped on the dam as most of the eagles are on the ice next to open water keeping an eye on the ducks......





After that we drove below the dam and that's where we were fortunate to get very close to half a dozen or so.......

Great Pics, Jay! Sometime, I'll have to take pictures of some eagles around where I live. There is place ,you can go, where you may see up to 30 or so eagles in one area.. It amazing to see that many in one sitting..
