Spot and Stalk Bucks

[The Silence]

When you guys are hunting during the rut, have you ever tried to stalk a buck that you see holed up with a doe. Either seeing them as you head to your stand, seeing them while in your stand and getting down and going after them. Or seeing them as you're driving, trying to contact the land owner and going after them. I haven't tried it yet myself but there have been times in the past where I think back and wished I had been more aggressive with my tactics.

I'm probably too aggressive many times, so yes I'll go after a buck any chance I can if I think I may be able to make it work. It worked out for me this year, but most of the time it won't. Still fun to try though!
