All things being equal, would you rather have a stand location on a field edge where the wind is blowing out into the field or back into good timber? I'm struggling with this as you never know what direction the deer come from.
I had this dilemma two years ago and went with field edge and have the wind blow towards the timber however I only hunt it when the wind is blowing opposite of the bedding area
