Stands

We recently built paths threw some thick evergreens and timber to try and get the deer using them back in forth to our food plots. my question is would a guy be better off to put a stand right off the path or set it back like twenty yards from it?

I would personally get off the path 10-20 yds on the predominant down wind side.

+1.....I think there's definitely a thing of being too close to a trail. Something I learned the hard way several years ago. Set back 10-20 yards and you will be able to get away with a little more movement when drawing the bow.

I'd buy a Lone Wolf and get a few different set ups so you can go in there on multiple winds.
