Got to my enclosed/elevated blind around 7 am. It was pretty dead until the squirrels started firing up about 8:30. At 9:20 12 deer approached and we're all w/in 20yds. 1 small 8pt, 3 or so mature doe, and the rest were yearling doe/buttons. I took my time and picked out the best looking doe and smoked her at about 15yds with my bow. About1/2 the deer ran off and a few stuck around. Now that the freezer is finally filled I am still left with a buck tag so will continue to sit throughout the day. Glad I have a buddy heater going in the blind cause it's a cold 8 degrees today.
