Found some info on my late muzzy buck i posted in harvest. He had a deformed hoof and the guy at Milo that checked him in for me said he was told once by someone with the DNR that it can be a result from a deer surviving blue tongue. Seemed too interesting to not pass along. Taxidermist checked teeth and aged at 5.5 y/o . If true he was quite the survivor.
