Switch and Wheatgrass

Looking to plant about 5 acres along a longer waterway.. I am planning on 30 ft strips of switch with wheatgrass alternating for 8 or ten strips. Will be using a GP drill..I have planted lots of switch but never mixed.. my 30 ft boom should be able to selectively spray as needed. Am I able to use atrazine as a pre down with glyphos before planting the wheatgrass..Thanks.

I doubt wheatgrass is atrazine tolerant. Atrazine or simazine or pretty tightly aligned with only a few grasses when seeding….. switch, big blue & little blue. It’s maybe possible but I highly doubt it.
I’d skip the atrazine - just do gly. Then- u can spray later with a few options….. u r gonna be mowing it a couple times even with spray.

Have basically gotten completely away from any pres on switchgrass. Duracor is so good post. Also moved planting to later in season to miss the huge weed flush.

Put the seed down today without chemical...Beans look clean for now.
