Update: Still have my tag. Called a hen into 5 feet of the blind. Saw a lots toms, jakes, and hens.

Have two dozen turkeys heading my way, hopefully at least one Tom will give me a shot!

Should have sunk one this morning, tricky birds.

I'm here in Kansas. Woke up, headed out like any normal time. No gobbles, no birds chirping, nothing. I set down and I hear a couple of hens and they just keep calling at me. About 8 minutes ago I watched 2 coyotes take down a hen at 60 yards. I bark and one of the coyotes comes rushing into my decoys. I blast him in his tracks, I've never seen a coyote take down a turkey. Didn't ever think a coyote could be fast enough.
