I have a buddy lives in West Union and with my daughter off to college soon I've been putting in for points with the idea of hunting the public. Years ago he had a place up in Waukon and I fell in love with the area. I've been a long time archery hunter and limit my hunting now to archery and public land. So I reached out to several folks here for some guidance as I was planning on scouting some public pieces. Of course I wanted to be respectful to not infringe on anybody's hunt, but to be able to hone it down so that I was not starting from scratch.

I have to say that I was humbled by the time and guidance provided. I won't name names as I want to respect folks privacy, but you all know who you are.
