Ok, a buddy got the first pictures of this doe on Oct. 9. Notice the bulge between her legs.

Now today he pulled a card from a camera and got this....

The pics are one week apart and look how much it's grown. What's your best guess on what's causing this?

It looks like mastitis. I have seen it in cattle. If i remember right it usually happens after a calf has been weaned then an infection sets in one of the quarters and spreads. It looks like she has had an infection for some time before the first picture was taken. That's just my guess.
 
Looks like a torn abdomen wall like a hernia or abdominal muscles have torn loose from the pelvis.
 
We had a dog that developed fat tumors as he got older, the biggest one was about the size of a volleyball, that would be my guess. That or alien pod baby....
