The wife and I went on a shed hunt this morning and on the drive there she asked if we'd see any turkeys. My response was that they were still in the large winter flock about 1 1/2 miles from where we'd be. While walking through the woods we came across a lot of turkey sign. When checking the camera as we were leaving it was a pleasent suprise to see they have returned.
Last year they were a group of 10, I had two photos with nine so it looks like one didn't make it through the winter.
Season isn't far away.
