Went by the farm Sunday where the river bottom tree stand is. It looks like the corns almost all out, were supposed to have some colder weather later this week and its NOVEMBER!!!!!! looks like Ill be playing hookie on Friday.

Thanks Jake everytime I sit in that stand I can visualize a monster buck struttin out of that dried up marsh shaking twigs and grass out of his antlers but so far I really havnt seen a lot there to impress me Ive seen 1 very nice buck hed go 140" class at least but hes very shy. That poicure from the stand does very little to highlight the true scope of this piece of land Its a huge huge area with lots of places for deer to hide so Im hoping that giant in my daydreams is out there waiting for the rut.
