Too Early to Plant?

I know best time to Frost Seed, is end of Feb first of March. I am going to be down on my land hopefully this weekend. If I can beat the predicted snow storm. I have some clover seed Alice white,, to frost seed into my rye. Is it still a bit too early to broadcast? I feel it probably is. Might be throwing it on fresh snow?

I'd wait until mid-March. More of your seed will survive if you do that.
