too late?

This spring we planted 5 acres of trees and shrubs. They were doing well until last week when we had back to back days near 100 and very high winds. Most of the trees now appear very dead and not in good shape. However I was wondering with the recent rain we have been receiving and rain in the forcast is there any chance the trees and shrubs come back? or am I just out of luck?

Dont sound too good. Usually if the leaves turn brown or fall off you are looking at a loss but I may be wrong. --Just what I have ran into before
