topographical maps

Go to http://terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/ and you should be able to put in a town or where ever you want to go and zoom in and out as you like. You can switch the views from satellite photos to topo maps. It is pretty cool....I have used this site for a long time to look around at stuff....and it is free. Some of the views aren't as recent as I would like, but it still works. Also, you might want to try http://ortho.gis.iastate.edu This is also a great site and I have used it for tops maps.

I have made some nice aerial photos of my farms with mytopo.com. They are relatively inexpensive (16 dollars delivered) and you can order them folded or glossy. I get one of each. I carry the folded one while I scout and keep the glossy on the wall.

www,mapcard.com is a versital site but does require a yearly fee.. i use mine all the time and find it easy to change from photo to topo

mytopo.com is another good one. I just recieved an 18"X24" aerial photo from them on Monday. Cost was $17.70 with shipping. Very professional to work with and very happy with the results.
