I'm pretty new to using trail cameras. I'm here in PA and I just got my first buck picture. It's a really good 8 point (by PA standards NOT Iowa standards!!)
I'm pretty anxious to see if he keeps coming back or just passing by.

How often do you guys kill a buck that you caught on camera?

Last year was my first year running a trailcam and I harvested a buck I had numerous pictures of. There is a post in the PMA harvest forum titled: "Splitty". I should note that I wasn't specifically targeting that buck. The opportunity just presented itself.

With some of the pics I've been getting this year, I hope I'm as lucky.

Just been using cameras a couple of years and last year we had several buck pictures and harvested two of those. One with a bow and one with a muzzleloader. We had multiple pictures of each buck and they were throughout the growing season. Pretty cool stuff.
