Transporting deer from out of state ?

Not sure how to title this but here is the question. When you hunt out of state and harvest a trophy how do you transport it? I am headed to Nebraska to hunt in December and according to IDNR regs deer from there have to be boned, caped and skull capped before transporting back to Iowa due to CWD. This is a DIY hunt and I am not skilled enough to cape a deer for mounting should I harvest one nice enough. So I need suggestions or advice.

I would suggest...IF you get something you want to mount to take it to a taxidermist to have it caped.I friend of mine thats a taxidermist here charges like $40 to cape a buck out.He does a lot for out of staters.

Thanks for the reply. Any of you Nebraska guys have a taxidermist to recomend? Somewhere around Grand Junction would be nice.
