Trout Release DMACC Family Fishing Day

My oldest son and I were able to attend a great event at the DMACC ponds two weekends ago. I was there to help him and a few of his friends as they were right on the action ...

We managed to hook into and land one of the breeder stock trout release - :way:

what a day! You gonna put that big one on the wall?? I caught an 8 lbs. brood fish in a NE Iowa stream.... I ate it, and later realized I should have put him on the wall... it tasted great tho!

Great fun for both kids, and adults. Those trout really fight before you can pull them through the ice!
