Just wondering, can we get a roll call for those of you chasing three toes this spring with recurve or longbow? Inquiring minds want to know.;)
As for myself, I will hunt some with traditional bows. Our regulations changed this year and a turkey permit is good for any type of legal weapon. Sort of nice not having archery or shotgun only tags.

Good luck !:way:

The only stickblows I use is the one to beat the buggers to death after I wing 'em with 10 ounces of heavy shot.

Like you, I'll be doing the old bear recurve with the traditional 870 as back up. Granddaughter is ready to go but it will be a 20 ga for her.

10 oz of heavy shot and a stick??? OMG

This might finally be the year I give it a go. First bird will be a victim of the Bowtech. If I make it that far, I'm gonna try it. Yep, I'm a wuss.

IF i get one early with the guardian, and IF i get some decent practice with the new (to me) gamemaster, i may give it a shot.

I like to hunt with my recurves and if I'm successfull, I move to my Grandpa's 1913 Stevens 12ga. That old gun has some steep tradition behind it.:drink1:
