"I shot this buck at 5 yds. on Nov. 13. I was set up at the
top of an erosion ditch between two bedding areas. He
came through at 11:00 in the morning.

A couple hours earlier, I had a coyote stop at the top
of the ditch. I shot just over his back at 28 yds. When
my buck came through he locked up 25 yds. downwind
of where the coyote had stopped. This had his full
attention, presenting me with the short shot. He ran
75 yds before expiring. Never thought I'd be happy
about missing a coyote, but this time I am."
