Two P&Y's in six days!

I'm on a bit of a roll. Three for three on bear tags this year and I just shot two Pope and Young animals only six days apart. A bear in Ontario last week and a whitetail in Montana this week. Hope I can keep this going for my remaining three deer hunts (MN, KS, ND) and one more bear hunt in Maine. I'm blogging these hunts on bowhuntingroad.com if you are interested in following along.

Neither the bear nor the deer have been officially measured of course but the bear should go about 19 1/2 and the deer will be between 135 and 140. I don't plan to officially measure or enter either of them. Never have.

The bear was 308 pounds field dressed which translates into about 360-370 live weight. He was big and lanky.
