update on used muzzleloader

After Christmas I posted my complaint on here about a sporting goods store selling a used muzzleloader to my mom as a new gun. The gun was a gift for my dad. My dad returned the gun and after a long arguement with the store to get his money back they finally refunded his money. Well they have put it back on the shelf and it is still listed as new. So if anyone wants a Knight .45 disc extreme with a thumbhole stock and stainless barrel, don't buy the one there. You will notice all of the scratches on the barrel. I don't want anyone else getting screwed over. Buyer beware!!!

I think i seen this gun this weekend. I was at a very big sporting goods store in west Des Moines and seen this gun on the rack. I asked the sales man why this used gun was so expensive and he told me it was new.

They also had a 50cal disc extreme that looked like it was shot 50 times and not cleaned. They wanted $575 for this gun. I would not trust one gun in that store!

Sounds like a good WHO news story...

Seriously I would write a letter to their headquarters in ND. That is just not right.

GREAT!!! I didn't want to hear this type of thing now! I might be getting a job there when I get out of college. If I do, I promise I won't do any of you boys wrong. Just ask for me!

the large sporting goods store HQ'd in Faergo, ND has a superstore here in town. Everytime i look at a used shotgun there it appears as though someone just brout it in from the range. They swear they do an excellent job cleading thier guns put every barrel i look at lately is full of powder residue. Just be carefull when buying used guns.
